Several years ago I decided to do a gallery wall. I always loved the look of it but really had no idea how to begin. I decided to start by buying frames and lots of them! I knew I would need several, so I started buying a few frames from Target and then every few weeks I would use my 40% coupon and pick up a frame at Michael’s. It probably took me about 6 months to finally have enough frames to fill my wall space. I had no idea how they would all fit together but I just kept buying them. Then I had a friend come over who loves decorating as much as I do to help me. We spent hours arranging and rearranging the frames on the floor until we felt we had it right. Then my talented husband 🙂 measured and hung them on the wall for me. Since that first wall arrangement, I have moved twice. In the house I am in now the wall space was pretty large so I decided to add a few more things to it. Before, I had just used frames with photos in them but this time I added a small picture of dried flowers that I inherited from my Grandma (shown in the second picture) and a mirror which I had previously hung on its own in my bedroom (shown in third picture). I was really happy with the outcome. I think it looks better if you can mix it up a bit.
